Bobby Holland  \  Back To One, LLC

A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Bobby Holland’s destiny as a photographer and filmmaker was forged as a young man, when a neighbor introduced him to the art of photography with a gift of a used 35mm still camera.

Fast forward to the early seventies, and Bobby found himself in Los Angeles as a staff photographer for Motown Records, photographing every major R&B artist on their roster. Beyond Motown, he did photo sessions with every other well known R&B artist of that era. Throughout the rest of the seventies and into the eighties, he extended his photography into the world of celebrity and film.

At the same time, he formed Cymarron West, an award winning full service production company, specializing in film and video production, new media, post-production and still photography. With Cymarron West, he and his team produced national and international film projects, advertising campaigns and music videos for numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Additionally, with extensive experience with the automotive world, they produced national television commercials, print ads, outdoor advertising, dealer point of sale and new media. Bobby also created record company artist CD packaging, marketing campaigns and movie and television key art.

In 2017, he was selected to be a Hasselblad storyteller and participated in their expansion into China with their first retail store.

As of 2025, Bobby Holland has made the transition to forming Back To One, a company dedicated to the future world of entertainment and digital media, including available film archives for licensing of R&B recording artists of the seventies.
